We are planning to run our first Guided Tour of The Ballycorus Lead Mines and Smelter Tower on Sunday May 15th 2016 at 2pm. There will also be a Mini Treasure Hunt with prizes for the winners. This event is suitable for all ages but anybody under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Tour will give a fascinating insight into the history of the Lead Mines and Smelter Tower which dates back to the 1800s. There will also be time to explore the Tower along with the ruins of the historic tunnels. some of which are still intact.

Please Note: This event is subject to a permit from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

The Tour is limited to 30 participants so early booking is advised.

The cost of the tour is €6 for Adults and €3 for kids (this is to cover costs and time)
