How? has become a favourite on the dlr Events calendar since its first outing in 2014 and on Sunday May 22nd 2016 our science and technology event is back in Shanganagh Park, Shankill The event will be a fun and educational afternoon out for all the family with a range of science and technology attractions from the past, present and future.
We will have Minecraft workshops running all afternoon on a first come first served basis. The workshops are free to enter and are open to ages 12 and below. Each participant will need a laptop and a copy of Minecraft to take part. All young people at the event under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Colmac Robotics will be running workshops which provide the perfect environment for children of all ages and abilities to explore the endless possibilities of robotics and engineering. The workshops will provide a platform that allows children to learn about robotic technology in a fun and stimulating environment.

Learn HOW? to explore the past through archaeology!
The School of Irish Archaeology
focuses on teaching students the importance of Irish heritage, culture and identity through archaeology will be at the event. The school's main objective is to teach our future generations about the past accomplishments of our ancestors in a fun an accessible way.
