ECCE Scheme
The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme is a Government funded initiative that provides 2 FREE years of pre-school to every child in Ireland between the ages of 3 - 5 years. In general, children are eligible for the ECCE scheme if they are aged over 3 years 2 months and up to 5 years 8 months, on the 1st of September of the year that they will be starting.
