The Enniskerry Victorian Field Day Festival is held annually in September at Knocklinn Farm, on the Ballyman road minutes from Bray and Enniskerry and only 30 minutes from Dublin! This family farm has been run by the Heatley family since 1914 and is an idyllic setting for a Victorian themed festival with the Sugarloaf Mountain providing an amazing backdrop and the views of the coastline sparkling in the distance are stunning.
The Festival attracts over 4,000 people each year. The 2016 Enniskerry Victorian Field Day takes place on Sunday 11th September. Come along in Victorian costume; it adds to the spirit of the day and you will be in with a chance to win magnificent prizes in our ‘Best Dressed’ Competition .
The fantastic programme of events guarantees you a day out like no other! There are wide arrays of activities that will appeal to all ages and keep you entertained for an entire day! The festival programme includes; Steam Threshing – a sight not seen on this farm in over sixty years; Tug of War battles; Vintage car and tractor shows; Artisan market and food fair. Other Entertainment highlights include puppetry; pony rides; Dog shows ; Horseshoe throwing; Nail Driving; Archery; Falconry; Kids games and carousels and a variety of exciting competitions.
