DLR County Council present 'Stop Food Waste Challenge' programme.
The workshops are built around the Stop Food Waste Challenge see here and cover the following themes:
Awareness - what are you wasting?
Planning - shopping lists etc.
Shopping - understanding supermarket marketing techniques etc.
Storage - what, where, how and why.
Cooking - portion control, leftover recipes etc.
Worth noting participant in the Stop Food Waste Challenge reduced their food waste by 50% (on average) realising an on average saving of €30 per month on food bills.
Courses are taking place in Shanganagh House , refreshments will be given to participants (dates/times below).
